Janette Parkinson – Owner

Janette Parkinson was born and raised in Great Britain and has been happily married to her husband, Sean, for 40 years. They have two wonderful grown children, Thomas and Corrine, who have each blessed them with four beautiful granddaughters (and two more granddaughters on the way). As a devoted mother and grandmother, Janette understands the unique needs of young children and believes in nurturing and enhancing their strengths.
At Here We Grow, Janette is committed to creating a safe, warm, and happy environment where your child can thrive. With over two decades of experience in education and child development, she has a proven track record of ensuring the well-being and happiness of children in my care. While serving as a member on the board of governors for the British School of Amsterdam, Janette made a substantial contribution during a crucial transition phase. Her efforts led to the expansion of the school and a 35% increase in student enrollment.

Jennifer – Director

Ms. Jennifer has over ten years of experience teaching in private and public schools grades pre-k (3 year old program) through eighth grade. After leaving the public school system, Jennifer became the director of a preschool in down town Jersey City, having twenty years in the education profession, then joining HWG in 2014. She has a BA in History, has NJ teacher certificate for K-5, and a MA in Education, and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree. Jennifer is also a mother of one.
Nancy – Assistant Director

Ms. Nancy comes to Here We Grow with forty years of experience in the education field teaching kindergarten – sixth grade and adults. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology from Kean University. Ms. Nancy has taught a variety of classrooms at HWG before taking on the Assistant Director role in 2020. Ms. Nancy has two grown children.
